Built by a Trader,
for Traders.
FX Strategy Analyzer is an independent project built by a solo developer who got tired of the gap between what serious traders need and what free tools actually offer.
Why I Built This
After years of backtesting Expert Advisors on MetaTrader, I kept running into the same problem: the built-in MT4/MT5 report is useful, but it barely scratches the surface. You get a net profit number and a basic equity curve — but nothing that tells you why a strategy succeeds or fails.
Paid analytics platforms exist, but they're expensive and often overkill for independent traders running their own EAs. I wanted something free, private, and genuinely useful — so I built EA Analyzer Pro.
Then came the second problem: building an EA without coding knowledge is still out of reach for most traders. StratForge MT5 was the answer — a visual wizard that generates production-ready MQL5 code with no programming required.
What This Project Stands For
The Tools
EA Analyzer Pro takes the HTM report that MetaTrader generates after a backtest and transforms it into a full analytical dashboard — equity curves, drawdown analysis, monthly P&L breakdowns, Sharpe ratio, SQN score, portfolio synthesis across multiple EAs, and 20+ performance KPIs. Everything runs locally in your browser.
StratForge MT5 is a 7-step visual wizard for building Expert Advisors. You configure your entry conditions, exit logic, risk management, and trailing stop rules — and it generates a complete, compilable MQL5 file ready to run in MetaTrader 5. No coding knowledge needed.
Alongside these two tools, a growing suite of free calculators covers position sizing, drawdown recovery, risk/reward, risk of ruin, expectancy, and pip value.
The Blog
Alongside the tools, the blog covers the questions that come up while using them — how to read a backtest report properly, how to evaluate an EA before risking real capital, how to think about market regimes, and how macro events like NFP or CPI releases transmit into intraday FX.
Articles are produced with the help of AI tools as part of a defined three-stage workflow (research, drafting, review), and reviewed before publication. AI involvement is disclosed in the footer of every article. Final accountability for what is published rests with me — the developer running this site.
What's Next
This is an ongoing project. The roadmap is shaped entirely by what traders actually ask for. Here's where things are heading:
